Becky seated outdoors surrounded by several dogs of different breeds — showing her connection with rescue dogs

Hi, I’m Becky—lifelong rescue dog guardian, enrichment enthusiast, and behavior nerd. For over 30 years, I’ve shared my life with dogs of every size, personality, and challenge, from reactive pups who kept me on my toes to wise seniors who taught me the art of slowing down.

I created Becky’s Canine Enrichment Club to help guardians like you build an enrichment plan that fits your dog’s needs and your life.

Enrichment: What It Is, What It Isn’t, and Why Your Dog Needs It

    • Activities, environments, and interactions that engage your dog’s brain and body

    • A way to meet your dog’s natural instincts and needs.

    • An opportunity for your dog to do “dog things”—like sniffing, chewing, digging, scavenging, exploring, and playing.

    • A daily quality-of-life maintenance. Wellness for your dog.

    • Just giving your dog a treat or a new toy.

    • Only about the item or activity itself.

    • Simply a way to keep your dog from getting bored.

    • Decrease or prevent destructive behavior

    • Supports behavior modification and training

    • Builds confidence and resilience

    • Enhances your bond with your dog

    • Supports senior dogs in staying mentally and physically active

    • Provides safe outlets for energy in reactive or limited-mobility dogs

    • Helps your dog stay mentally sharp, emotionally balanced, and physically healthy.
